Single benefit has been assigned to parents in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, since the beginning of this year, the Social Fund of Russia has assigned a single benefit to parents of more than 243 thousand children. Over 23.3 billion rubles have been allocated to ensure these goals this year, the press service of the regional branch of the SFR reported.

A single benefit is assigned to families whose per capita income does not exceed the subsistence minimum per person in the region (in Bashkiria—13,753 rubles). One of the main conditions for assigning the payment is income for adult family members or objective reasons for their absence. The family's property security is also taken into account. For example, a family can own one apartment in any area or several apartments if the area per family member does not exceed 24 square meters.

Income information is taken into account for 12 months, but the countdown of this period begins 1 month before the date of application. Thus, when applying for benefits in September of the current year, income from August of the previous year to July of the current year, inclusive, will be considered.

The payment can be 50%, 75%, or 100% of the regional subsistence minimum for children. In Bashkiria, this is 6,670, 10,005, or 13,340 rubles, respectively.

One of the parents, an adoptive parent, or a guardian (trustee) of the child can apply for the payment. An application for the appointment of a single benefit can be submitted on the public services portal at the client service of the SFR or the MFC regional branch.

Ministry of Labor of Bashkiria proposed establishing a republican maternity (family) capital of 300 thousand rubles. In particular, it is suggested to pay family capital to women under 35 concerning the birth or adoption of a third child after January 1, 2025.

In addition, the Ministry of Labor of Bashkortostan proposed paying young pregnant women and female students up to 24 years of age from registration until the birth of the baby a monthly payment in the amount of two regional subsistence minimums - 28.3 thousand rubles. Strengthening family values, supporting the family, and supporting motherhood, fatherhood, and childhood are our constant priorities, said the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.
