Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to consider the issue of annual payments to large families, timed to coincide with Family, Love and Fidelity Day. The corresponding instruction was included in the list following a meeting with finalist families of the All-Russian family competition of the “It’s Family for Us” project, published on the Kremlin website.
A report on the consideration of the issue was instructed to be submitted by December 1, 2024. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has been appointed responsible.
Earlier, a law was signed on annual payments to families raising two or more children, and both parents work. Still, the average per capita family income does not exceed 1.5 subsistence minimums.
In Bashkiria, all families where a child is born can count on financial support, regardless of their economic well-being and the number of children. At the same time, some of them - large families, low-income families, single mothers, and parents of disabled children have additional financial privileges.
