Bashkiria - leader in consumer goods quality control in Volga Federal District

With the introduction of mandatory labeling, the market has become more transparent, and consumers are more confident in their purchases. Among the regions of the Volga Federal District, the Republic of Bashkortostan is in a leading position and, according to the results of the 2nd quarter of 2024, continues to hold first place in the number of registered enterprises and individual entrepreneurs in the Honest SIGN system.

Since September 1, Russia has started labeling farm dairy products. Seven new product groups have also been established: bicycles, veterinary drugs, animal feed, non-alcoholic beer, canned products, edible vegetable oil, and technical rehabilitation equipment.

Since September 1, a permit regime has been in effect for all sellers of water and dairy products. Previously, this only applied to large retail chains.

The system works as follows. The cashier scans the labeling code. The cash register program sends the data to Honest SIGN. The system checks it and reports whether there are any violations. In large retail chains, the permit mode at the checkout for dairy products is connected in 96% of retail outlets.

Any consumer can check the legality of a marked product. You must download the "Honest Sign" application and scan the code to do this. You can also report any counterfeit goods in the application.
