Bashkiria is first in Volga Federal District in health tourism

Bashkiria's sanatoriums earned 3.28 billion rubles in the first six months of 2024, 18% more than in the same period last year. These figures are the highest among the sanatoriums of the Volga Federal District.

“The Republic is an attractive region for tourists. First, this is the nature, ethnicity, and full potential of our sanatoriums - we have more than 60 of them, and they occupy leading places in federal ratings. The regional authorities are creating all the conditions for tourists to return. Our department supports this initiative and reminds us to keep the voucher cost at the lowest level among similar institutions in the Volga Federal District. The minimum cost of one bed-day is just over 2 thousand rubles in the Zelenaya Roshcha sanatorium. The average is 4 thousand rubles,” comments Natalya Polyanskaya, Minister of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Bashkiria. According to the National Resort Association, in the first six months of 2024, the sanatoriums of the Russian Federation earned 88.7 billion rubles, which is 15.4% more than last year. The sanatoriums of the Southern Federal District are in the lead with an income of 26.7 billion rubles (+15.7%). In second place are the health resorts of the North Caucasus, whose income amounted to 19.9 billion rubles (+18.8%), and in third place are the sanatoriums of the Volga District with 13.3 billion rubles and growth of more than 20%, which is the best indicator among all districts.

In the Volga Federal District, the sanatoriums of the Republic of Bashkortostan are in the lead, having earned 3.28 billion rubles, which is 18% more than in the same period last year.

The sanatoriums of Tatarstan, with an income of 2.66 billion rubles, are in second place. Sanatoriums in Perm Krai also show promising results: their income amounted to 1.88 billion rubles, which allows them to take third place in the district.
