2.2 million tourists visited Bashkiria
The Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic, Zukhra Gordiyenko, reported, citing official data from Rosstat, that 2.2 million people visited Bashkiria in 2023.
At the same time, according to the head of the department, according to SberAnalytics, 2.5 million tourists spent 28 billion rubles in the region last year.
According to this indicator, Bashkiria ranks third in the Volga Federal District and 12th in Russia. The Republic is successfully implementing the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry," developing tourism infrastructure is one of the region's priority tasks. According to the republican government, 1.5 billion rubles of federal funds were attracted for these purposes in 2023.
