Ufa celebrates its 450th anniversary: day one

Today, the capital of Bashkortostan, Ufa, celebrates its 450th anniversary. A rich program dedicated to the anniversary of Ufa will begin today, August 30.

A three-day street theater festival, Aida Fest (12+), will open at 15:00 at Art-Kvadrat. More than 40 performances will be held at venues in all seven districts of the city.

In the evening program, brass bands will perform near the Russian Drama Theater as part of the All-Russian festival Ufa Sounds! (6+). Leading creative groups will play patriotic pieces. The program starts at 18:00.

In the amphitheater of the Toratau Congress Hall, the Heart of Eurasia festival (12+) will start at 19:00. On the first day, local artists, the groups Pizza and Charisma (Belarus), as well as Vanya Dmitrienko and Alexey Vorobyov will perform.

The ethnic gastronomic festival "Grapes" will continue its work in the Kashkadan Park until September 1.

As Bashinform reported earlier, guests from foreign countries and Russian regions will come to the 450th anniversary of Ufa. Among them are the presidential envoy to the Volga Federal District, Igor Komarov, the President of Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania, and the Prime Minister of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko. Official delegations from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, heads of regions, and mayors of large cities in the Volga Federal District will come to the anniversary of Ufa.

The anniversary festive program will continue on Saturday, August 31.
