Ufa friendship badge was approved in Bashkiria

At the next meeting of the city council of the capital of Bashkiria, the municipal friendship badge of the city of Ufa was approved. It is known that it is made of golden metal in the form of a circle with a handshake in the center and an image of a running marten in the rays of the rising sun on a green background above.

The badge will be awarded for services to the city in strengthening peace, friendship, cooperation, and mutual understanding between peoples, fruitful activities to bring together and mutually enrich the cultures of nations and peoples, and active work to preserve, enhance, and popularize the cultural and historical heritage of Ufa, a significant contribution to the implementation of major economic projects and to attract investment funds to the economy and a substantial contribution to strengthening friendship and interaction with the capital.

"Similar badges exist in many municipalities. Ufa is actively developing its foreign economic, cultural, and social ties with cities and regions of Russia. Mutually beneficial relations have been established in various areas. I am sure that many citizens worthy of the new award love our city and care about its development and prosperity, and they are true friends of Ufa. I think the first awards will take place soon,” said the Chairman of the Ufa City Council, Marat Vasimov.
