Public space in historical center is being landscaped for Ufa’s 450th anniversary

The head of the Ufa administration, Ratmir Mavliev, announced in his Telegram channel about additional landscaping of the territory near the stele "Ufa - the city of labor valor." Trees, shrubs, and perennial flowers are planted here to make this iconic city place even more beautiful and cozy. On August 31, in honor of the 450th anniversary of Ufa, a "Time Capsule" will be laid on the territory of the stele - a message to future generations.

In Bashkiria, much attention is paid to the renewal of public spaces, which are not only landscaped but also filled with special meaning.

"It is important that we do not just landscape parks, squares, embankments, change tiles, and put benches - we are restarting the territories, turning them into exciting places that you want to discover for yourself, in which it is pleasant to be," the Head of Bashkiria noted.

The federal project "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment," within the framework under which the competition was held, has been in effect since 2019. Over the 5 years of its implementation, 683 public spaces have been improved in Bashkiria for 7 billion rubles, most of which are federal budget funds. This year, 121 public areas are being updated under the project for more than 1 billion rubles.
