Radiy Khabirov visited Vladimir Nuzhdin's engravings exhibition

On August 27, the Head of Bashkortostan viewed Vladimir Nuzhdin's exhibition "Light of the Kremlin Stars in Ufa. Russian History in Engravings and Miniatures."

The exhibition of the unique artist-engraver opened today in the National Museum of the Republic. The project, presenting more than 70 works by Vladimir Nuzhdin, became a natural gift for the residents and guests of Ufa for the celebration of the 450th anniversary of the capital of Bashkortostan.

The artist said that one of the main areas of his work is a counter-relief engraving on stone with subsequent casting in metal. This is a very ancient technique of fine art.

"Vladimir Nuzhdin is the author of many modern medals, orders, and our new modern award system. In particular, he created the orders and medals of General Shaimuratov, the Order of Aksakov, and the medal "For Labor Activity." I think that it turned out very well. We are still working with him. The exhibition is worth seeing. It is a magical story," Radiy Khabirov answered a question from a journalist from Bashinform News Agency.

In the work of the artist-engraver, along with military themes, there are beautiful works on "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, portraits of great statesmen of Russia and Europe, and works on the theme of Russian folk tales.

The master's works are in the funds and the prominent exhibitions of many museums in Russia and the world: the Hermitage, the State Museum-Reserve "Tsarskoye Selo," the State Memorial Museum of A. V. Suvorov, the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of Russia, the National Dresden Gallery, the National Museum of Plassenburg, the Prado Museum, the Museum of National Instruments of Scotland and others.

Radiy Khabirov also viewed "The Magic World of Animation," an exhibition dedicated to the history of Russian animation and the Soyuzmultfilm film studio.

It consists of three sections. The first one presents a historical timeline of the formation of Soyuzmultfilm. In the second one, visitors can watch fragments from their favorite cartoons and documentaries. The third section is dedicated to animated movie posters for the studio's most iconic films.

Boris Mashkovtsev, the General Director of the Soyuzmultfilm film studio, said that modern children would see their favorite cartoon characters, and their parents would see their childhood heroes.
