On August 27, in Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, handed over the keys to 135 LADA Granta-based vehicles to representatives of 43 medical organizations in the republic.
"These vehicles will work for our people to make medicine as close to people as possible so that you can bring people who have difficulty getting to the hospital or clinic so that your therapists and pediatricians can get to their patients. This is a significant story. We are constantly continuing this work. By the end of the year, 70 more vehicles will arrive. Let our medicine be both technological and developed, but most importantly, like this, closer to people," said Radiy Khabirov.
The head of the region inspected the new equipment for domestic production. The Lada Granta vehicles are equipped with everything necessary to safely and comfortably deliver patients to hospitals and clinics. They will be indispensable in remote areas of the republic, especially in off-road conditions. They have an onboard computer, air conditioning, and satellite navigation.
“There will be 206 cars this year. We are replacing cars that have been running for 20 years. We have made a significant push - we have been changing cars all these years. It would seem like an unnoticeable story - this is not an ambulance. These cars allow doctors to reach hard-to-reach places, bring patients, and take tests. A good story, significant, and exactly what is called bringing medicine closer to people,” said the Head of Bashkortostan.
The cars were purchased with federal and republican funds for 162.4 million rubles.
