Bashkiria is recognized as one of most comfortable Russian regions

Bashkiria became the laureate of the 1st National Award for Creating a Comfortable Urban Environment in the nomination "Best Region for the Development of Small Towns and Historical Settlements." The results were summed up at the All-Russian forum "Development of Small Towns and Historical Settlements," which is currently in Kaluga. The best were awarded based on the results of five years of work.

"It is nice that Bashkortostan is among them. We have something to be proud of. Bashkortostan ranks 3rd in the country in the number of winners of the All-Russian competition of the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements - 29 projects in five years. This allowed us to attract 4 billion rubles from the federal budget for improvement," the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, wrote on his page on social media.

Over the past five years, 683 public areas have been improved thanks to the program “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment,” this year, more than 120 more are in the works.
