Student campus in Ufa will help solve problem with dormitory places

A father of many children from the Arkhangelsk region, winner of last year's "Father's Valor" award, Alexander Stepanov, today, during a meeting with the Head of the region, in addition to the purpose of the Patriot Park, also raised the issue of the lack of places in the dormitories of Ufa universities. According to him, renting an apartment in Ufa is becoming unaffordable for large families, and their children are often forced to choose universities to study in other regions.

Radiy Khabirov noted that each university has its regulations and rules for dormitory enrollment, and children from large families should be a priority.

"I will give the order to prepare a certificate for me. We will sort it out. As far as I know, you were given a campus tour today. In a little over a year, we must build seven campus towers, where more than 4,300 student places will be created. Today, the shortage of places in dormitories of Ufa universities is 6,000 places. The student campus will help solve this problem, among other things. We hope students will start living on campus as early as 2027,” noted Radiy Khabirov.
