August teachers' council will be held in Birsk next year
The traditional August meeting of education workers on the eve of the new school year will be held in Birsk next year. The Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, announced this on Monday at the government's operational meeting.
"The Birsk District, within the framework of the federal program, won a competition for the major repairs of 11 schools at once. I think they will share their experience and tell us how to do it," said Radiy Khabirov. He also added that the teachers' council in Birsk will probably be combined with a cultural program, particularly the "Apple Savior" festival.
Let us recall that this year, for the first time in many years, the August teachers' council was held outside the republic's capital, in Sterlitamak, and was devoted to "Strategic guidelines for the regional education system."
