Bashkir honey is named most delicious in Russia

Bashkir honey has been recognized as the most delicious in Russia. These are the results of a survey on social networks conducted by the Russian service for booking holiday accommodation TVIL.RU shortly before the Honey Savior.

Respondents had to answer one question: where did they try the most delicious honey?

“Bashkir honey came in first place, chosen by 29% of voters. Many consider Bashkir honey the best in the country because the honey plants here are the purest flowering meadows, not buckwheat and sunflower fields. Bashkiria is also home to a unique wild honey bee inhabiting tree hollows and homemade beehives. Only here has the ancient craft of beekeeping, collecting honey from wild bees, been preserved. It is not for nothing that Ufa is called the honey capital,” the report notes.

Krasnodar Krai took second place and was chosen by 17% of voters. Today, you can buy buckwheat, alpine, and linden honey on the Black Sea coast. There are also rare varieties - blueberry, chestnut, and eucalyptus.

Crimea closed the top three - 16% of voters. Crimean honey is also considered unique in taste and medicinal qualities. There are varieties here that you will not find elsewhere - lavender honey and sage honey.

Altai Krai was voted for by 12% of voters. Tambov Oblast was chosen by 10% of voters. The top 10 regions of Russia where the most delicious honey is produced include Stavropol Krai, Primorsky Krai, Tatarstan, Perm Krai, and Rostov Oblast.
