The international festival "Bashkort Aty" will be held on the shore of Lake Grafskoye in the Baimaksky district on August 15 and 16. In addition to the festive program, an extensive business program has been prepared. On August 16, a round table with the participation of the republic's leadership is planned to discuss the development of Bashkir horse breeding.
Participants in other round tables will discuss the preservation and breeding of aboriginal horse breeds of Eurasia, the development of equestrian sports using horses of Bashkir breeds, and the development of tourism in the Trans-Urals.
The festival program will consist of four blocks. It will include an exhibition fair of agricultural products, including horse meat and kumis from local producers, made according to the "Halal" standard. Visitors will also enjoy an interactive performance from the Bashkir Puppet Theater and exciting sports competitions—six types of equestrian races and much more are planned. Bashinform reported about the festival's sports program here.
In addition, this year, a site has been organized for passing the State Sports standards, where anyone can come. Traditionally, the horse parade will be the most spectacular event.
