Almost 200 units of rehabilitation equipment will be delivered to hospitals in Bashkortostan this year. By the end of 2026, 28 medical institutions in the republic will be equipped with equipment to improve patients' quality of life. The Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Andrey Nazarov, announced this on social media.
The federal project "Optimal Medical Rehabilitation for Health Restoration" was included in the list of initiatives for the country's socioeconomic development until the end of the decade. In Bashkortostan, the republican segment of this project is being implemented in the form of a regional program of the same name.
"Due to this, we are laying the material, technical and educational foundations for developing this area of medicine. I would like to note that today the medical rehabilitation departments in the republic are 75% staffed, and the availability of rehabilitation equipment at the beginning of 2024 was 77.25% of what was needed. However, there is something to improve here. Medical rehabilitation is not a quick process,” noted Andrey Nazarov.
In Bashkortostan, medical rehabilitation is carried out in stages. The first stage is carried out in 21 institutions - in trauma departments, regional and primary vascular centers, as well as in the hospital for war veterans, oncology and cardiology dispensaries.
The second stage of rehabilitation measures is received by patients in 20 medical organizations, in 48 departments of various profiles with a total capacity of 741 beds.
The third stage of rehabilitation assistance is provided in 32 medical organizations, including day hospitals and outpatient clinics, as well as two health resort organizations.
