Filmmakers in Bashkiria can win 15 million rubles to shoot their film

There is one week left until the end of the application period for the grant competition of the Head of Bashkiria to support projects in the field of cinematography in 2024, the Grant Fund reminds.

The total budget of the competition is 50 million rubles. The maximum grant amount that a participant in the competition can apply for: for shooting a full-length film or series - 15 million rubles; for shooting a short film - 5 million rubles.

Non-profit organizations that have been state-registered for at least 6 months in the republic and have the primary type of activity according to OKVED can take part in this grant competition: film production, film chronicle production; film distribution, film distribution, film screening, film restoration, performance of work and provision of services for the production of a film, film chronicle; production of film equipment, film materials; educational, scientific, research activities in the field of cinematography; publishing activities in the field of cinematography.

You can apply in 9 areas:

1. Preservation of historical and cultural memory (projects dedicated to outstanding figures, important cultural and historical events in the history of Bashkiria, including Russia, major state holidays, and memorable dates);
2. For children - about important things (creation of children's short and full-length feature films aimed at education and harmonious development of the individual);
3. Republic of friendship (projects that contribute to the preservation and development of the culture of interethnic (interethnic) and interfaith relations in the Republic of Bashkortostan);
4. Modern Bashkortostan (projects dedicated to the contemporary life of the republic and prospects);
5. Literary heritage (screen adaptations of Bashkir literature and drama, as well as literature and drama of the peoples of the republic);
6. Citizenship (projects that reveal the activities of non-profit organizations in the implementation of social projects, telling about the fate of the leaders of social change and their beneficiaries);
7. Time of Heroes (projects aimed at popularizing patriotism, about people who have shown themselves to be worthy and positive in difficult extreme situations, etc.);
8. Good Deeds "Ataysal" (projects about people who have made a significant contribution to the development of their "small homeland," about people from the Republic of Bashkortostan who provide assistance and comprehensively support their "small homeland");
9. Young Bashkortostan (projects dedicated to young people, revealing the problems, tasks, and challenges that they have to face).

Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on August 19. More information about the competition can be found on the website grantyglavy102.rf in the "Competitions" section.

- In 2023, the winners of the competition for support of projects in the field of cinematography were various genres of cinema. Thanks to this, we will soon see popular science, military-patriotic, and animated films on the screens. It is vital that this year, aspiring filmmakers will be able to try their hand at making short films. We hope that following the results of the competition, we will hear new names in Bashkir cinema, - said the head of the Grant Fund of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Lyutsiya Saifullina.

Since 2020, the Fund has supported 629 projects for more than 1.384 billion rubles.
