On August 7 in Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov presented state awards on the eve of Builder's Day. Certificates of honor, titles, and letters of gratitude were given to 68 workers of the regional construction complex for their professional achievements.
"We are proud of your success. The republic's construction complex shows promising results. Bashkortostan strengthens its leading position in housing construction in the Volga Federal District and the Russian Federation year after year. Last year, a record 3.3 million square meters of housing were built.
This year, we plan to maintain this high bar. We aim to achieve the country's President's goal of commissioning 4 million square meters of housing annually by 2030.
In addition to high-quality housing, you build thousands of industrial, engineering, and social facilities.
I want to note our builders' participation in restoring new Russian regions. Bashkortostan provides patronage assistance to the city of Krasny Luch in the Lugansk People's Republic. Our contractors have also successfully worked in Mariupol and Makeyevka. Enterprises and workers of the industry help residents of the liberated territories and our military formations," said Radiy Khabirov.
People of various professions work in the construction complex—architects, engineers, designers, crane operators, welders, reinforcement workers, drivers, and workers in related industries. Each of them is a worthy example for the young.
Rinat Sakhibgareev, professor of the Department of Building Structures at the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University, has trained in-demand personnel for 36 years. Rinat Sakhibgareev has contributed significantly to developing essential areas such as monolithic construction and increased the strength of reinforced concrete.
Alexander Dolgikh, a fifth-category manual welder at the Aeromash enterprise, has devoted 30 years to the industry. Among those receiving awards is Zulfas Yakubov, an excavator driver at the motor transport section of the Bashgrazhdanstroy Trust. Over 31 years of work in the industry, he has participated in constructing dozens of schools and kindergartens, sports complexes, and residential buildings in the republic.
Zaliya Baiguvatova from the construction company Vertikal has been working as a tower crane driver for 32 years. Zaliya Baiguvatova actively participated in constructing Ufa Arena, a large modern school in Nagaevo, residential complexes Polesie, Izumrudny, Eco-Sosny, and many others.
"Many warm words can be said about each of you. With your work, you are renewing our capital, which is becoming more beautiful before our eyes in the year of its 450th anniversary. May everything created by your hands please the residents and guests of our capital for many years to come. Once again, I congratulate you on the upcoming holiday! I wish you new successes, good health, and prosperity to you and your loved ones,” said the Head of Bashkortostan.
