87% kindergartens and schools ready for winter in Ufa
The preparation issue for the upcoming heating season was discussed at an operational meeting in the Ufa mayor's office. As reported by the head of the city life support department, Anton Tristan, 5.6 thousand apartment buildings in the city need to be prepared, of which 5.1 thousand have central heating. To date, specialists have completed flushing 83% of buildings, and 67% have been pressure tested.
Work is also underway to prepare individual heating points and gas boiler houses. 54% of heating points and 52% of boiler houses are ready.
Special attention is paid to preparing 582 socially significant facilities, including 348 schools and kindergartens. By the beginning of August, 85% of institutions are ready for winter, schools and kindergartens - 87%.
The previous heating season in Ufa ended on April 19. It was shorter than the 2022-2023 season by 16 days.
