Two powerful flares occurred on Sun
Two X-class flares occurred on the Sun — this energy emission is the most powerful of all existing ones.
According to the Academician Fedorov Institute of Applied Geophysics, the first X1.7 flare lasting 30 minutes occurred on August 5 at 16:40 (Moscow time). At 17:50, an intrusion of proton flows into near-Earth space in a wide range of energies, not exceeding the background level, was registered from it. A burst of radio emission of the II spectral type accompanied the flare. The second X1.1 flare occurred at 18:27 (Moscow time) and lasted 14 minutes.
Those with weather sensitivity may experience weakness, headaches, and drowsiness.
