Radiy Khabirov made important changes to Ministry of Labor's activities
The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, signed a resolution on changes to the activities of the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Protection of the Population.
According to the official document, the department provides certain categories of citizens with disabilities who permanently reside in the republic with certificates for technical rehabilitation equipment and children with disabilities with the corresponding rehabilitation certificates. It also provides and sells such certificates for certain categories of residents at the expense of the regional budget.
In addition, the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Bashkortostan coordinates activities to adapt the living quarters of disabled people in state, municipal, and private housing stock, considering their needs.
According to the resolution, the department organizes work on placing orphans and children left without parental care in specialized organizations. It provides methodological assistance and support to guardianship and trusteeship authorities.
The Ministry of Labor of the Republic supervises state employment services regarding social payments of unemployment benefits, pensions, and monthly supplements for orphans.
