Bank of Russia coins photo exhibition opened at Ufa airport

On July 16, the Bank of Russia exhibition “The Precious World of Wildlife” opened at the Ufa International Airport. The exhibition introduces commemorative coins dedicated to rare representatives of the fauna.

The coins' enlarged photocopies allow visitors to examine images of animals in detail. At the stands, you can also read interesting facts about their habits and habitat.

“The images of rare and endangered animals on the coins of the Bank of Russia are, first of all, a call for the protection of natural diversity. And since Russian medalists are recognized leaders in their field, the exhibition will be of interest both to animal lovers and conservationists and to connoisseurs of coinage,” said Anna Romanova, a museologist at the branch of the National Bank for the Republic of Bashkortostan of the Bank of Russia.

Since 1992, the Bank of Russia has regularly issued coins dedicated to rare animals. Today, the “Red Book” and “Save Our World” series include more than 150 types of coins.

The exhibition took place in the arrival hall of the domestic flight terminal and is available to all passengers arriving in Ufa. The exhibition will last until August 16.
