Radiy Khabirov announced “Kurchatov classes” opening in schools in Bashkiria
The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, announced on his social media that “Kurchatov classes” will open on September 1 in the Rami Garipov boarding school and the Republican Engineering Lyceum boarding school.
“This is a joint project with the National Research Center Kurchatov Institute; we agreed on its implementation during a meeting with the President of the Research Center, Mikhail Kovalchuk. In “Kurchatov classes,” starting from the 7th grade, children thoroughly study natural science subjects and engage in research activities. Such classes exist in Russia at 82 schools in 12 regions. Now they will appear here too,” Khabirov wrote.
It is known that as part of the project, schoolchildren will have access to modern equipment and laboratories, and the Aurora Talent Development Center will provide methodological support.
