Budget places have increased in universities of Bashkiria

The head of the information and analytical work department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Bashkortostan, Lina Sarbaeva, said that in the 2024-2025 academic year, the republic’s universities are ready to accept more than 14 thousand students in all areas on the budget. Last year, this figure was about 13.5 thousand.

At the same time, over 22 thousand budget places are open in secondary schools. The admission campaign to universities and colleges in the region will last until July 25 and August 15, respectively.

In Bashkiria in 2024, a record number of 100-point students appeared on the Unified State Exam—147 exam papers received the maximum score (almost twice as many as a year ago), and 11 graduates scored 100 points simultaneously in two subjects.

In the republic, starting in 2021, an annual one-time bonus from the Head of the Republic for 150 thousand rubles was established for school graduates who scored 100 points according to the results of the Unified State Exam.
