Scientific and technological development program is being created in Bashkiria

“These days, Antony Schwindt, assistant to Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Dmitry Chernyshenko, is on a working visit in the republic. The purpose of the visit is to develop and implement a comprehensive scientific and technological development program in Bashkortostan,” said Maxim Zabelin, head of the Administration of the Head of Bashkortostan, on his social networks.

“The visit program is vibrant. Today, we visited several facilities of our secondary and higher schools; we saw their capabilities and potential. Among 20 pilot regions, Bashkortostan is developing its comprehensive scientific and technological development program. Our leading universities, scientific organizations, and large industrial partners are involved in its republics, relevant ministries, and departments.

We have built systematic work to develop education and science. At the initiative of the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, unprecedented measures of grant support for education were introduced. These are grants for young preschool teachers, school teachers, teachers, and college vocational training masters. Grants are provided to improve living conditions and scientific and educational internships for our young scientists. Over two years, 498 people completed internships, and 133 improved their living conditions. Over the past three years, we have opened 18 youth laboratories working on new technological solutions.

The regions have been given ambitious tasks to accelerate the introduction of technologies into production, train personnel, and strengthen cooperation between science and business. We are ready for this. Work in this direction is already actively underway,” said Maxim Zabelin.
