Russian government will provide subsidies to regions to complete long-term construction projects

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree approving the rules for providing regions with subsidies to complete the construction or reconstruction of residential buildings that were not completed on time.

According to the federal government's press service, funds will be allocated based on applications received from the heads of the country's constituent entities.

“Such applications will be considered by the headquarters of the government commission for regional development. Funds will be provided on a co-financing basis. Thanks to them, it is planned to complete work on sites included in the federal register of unfinished capital construction projects. The work is being carried out within the framework of the state program “Providing affordable and comfortable housing and utility services to citizens of the Russian Federation,” the official statement said.
