Rainbow and golden trout are raised at the Lazya farm owned by entrepreneur Eduard Sharafutdinov. This is the first large-scale aquaculture project in the Salavat region. In 2020, the entrepreneur received a grant from the Agrostartup program, which helped him implement it.
3 flow canals were built on the farm, and ponds for fishing were created. The fish are fed organic food and gain weight in clean spring water. An incubator for reproducing young trout has been operating for two years. The products are in demand in restaurants and shops in the Ufa and among tourists.
In 2022, the entrepreneur again received financial support from the municipality. As a result, a tourism cluster is being created in the area in addition to the fish farm. Here, you can catch fish and cook it on the spot. There are parking lots and a recreation area with a grill house for tourists. The plans include the construction of tourist houses and a fish incubation and processing workshop. Creating a tourism cluster based on the Lazya trout farm will help increase tourist flow and preserve the environment and economic growth of the area.
Earlier, Bashinform reported that in 2023-2024, a record 3.9 billion rubles were allocated to develop tourism infrastructure in Bashkiria, of which 1.6 billion rubles were state support and 2.3 billion rubles were investors’ funds.
Agrostartup grants are allocated within the regional project “Acceleration of Small and Medium Enterprises” and implemented within the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives.”
