On June 30, more than 17 thousand people came to celebrate Russian Youth Day on the embankment of the Belaya River in Ufa. The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, announced this today at a weekly operational meeting.
“I haven’t seen so many young people for a long time. Everyone had happy faces and smiles. I arrived a little tired yesterday after a trip to the Ishimbay district and Patriot Park. Still, when I plunged into the atmosphere of the holiday, the fatigue disappeared,” said Radiy Khabirov.
The head of the republic instructed the head of his administration, Maxim Zabelin, to analyze events held for young people in cities and regions and noted that there should be more such holidays.
Chairman of the State Committee on Youth Policy Vito Sabirov reported that the event lasted until 11 pm and ended with a disco.
“There were several thematic zones, a cultural and educational program, and various master classes. A total of 50 sites operated,” noted Vito Sabirov.
