The Eurasian Museum of Nomadic Civilizations' visitor center will open in the Chishminsky district on July 6. The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, announced this today at a weekly operational meeting.
The museum's visitor center will house an artifact exhibition, a lecture hall, a depository, a cafe, and an observation deck. Also displayed at the visitor center will be a copy of a historical relic—Osman’s Koran—and a page from an 18th-century atlas of Russia with a map of Bashkortostan.
According to the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Urals Kilsenbaev, a scientific and cultural program is planned during the opening, and many guests are expected.
