As the press service of the Ufa airport reported, on June 30, the Nordwind Airlines board took off with maximum load on the Ufa-Kaliningrad route. Flights will be operated twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Sundays, on Boeing 737-800 aircraft designed for 189 passenger seats.
Departure from Ufa is at 06.40, and arrival in Kaliningrad is at 06.55. Time is local for each airport. The flight duration will be 3 hours 15 minutes.
“For residents and guests of Bashkortostan, the resumption of direct regular flights to Kaliningrad was a long-awaited event. Over the previous two years, flying from Ufa to one of the westernmost cities in the country was possible only with a transfer,” said Denis Nikitin, commercial director of Ufa airport.
