

In 2024, as part of the “Healthy Republic—Healthy Region” campaign, specialists performed 77,781 appointments and 18,770 examinations, including 11,762 fluorography and 7,008 mammography. This was reported in the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria Telegram channel.
As a result, 2,066 citizens had elevated blood glucose levels, 2,461 had elevated blood cholesterol levels, 3,425 had high blood pressure, and 3,066 were overweight. For the first time, doctors identified 1,799 socially significant diseases. 1,365 patients were diagnosed with diseases characterized by increased blood pressure, 93 were suspected of malignant neoplasms, 332 were diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, and nine people were diagnosed with tuberculosis.
It is noted that all citizens with suspected or identified socially significant diseases were sent for further examination to clarify the diagnosis in various republican institutions; they were then prescribed treatment. More information about the “Health Trains” schedule can be found here.
