Bashkiria is among national projects and federal program implementation leaders

Today, June 20, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, took part in a meeting of the Presidium of the Government Commission on Regional Development via video link. It was conducted by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin. At the meeting, they discussed the implementation of national and federal projects in 2024 and key tasks for the coming period.

Marat Khusnullin said during the meeting that today, the government, including the heads of regions, is actively working to form a new national project, “Infrastructure for Life.” According to the Deputy Prime Minister, an integrated approach will allow a systematic approach to infrastructure development and provide the most significant synergistic effect for every country resident.

The Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of continuing work to shorten the investment and construction cycle.

The head of the Russian Ministry of Construction, Irek Fayzullin, spoke about the progress of implementing national and federal projects in 2024. In particular, as of June 1 of this year, 43.8 million square meters of housing were commissioned in the country, of which 1.1 million square meters were in Bashkiria.

Marat Khusnullin noted the leading regions in implementing indicators of federal programs and national projects.

“The Penza and Nizhny Novgorod regions, the republics of Adygea, North Ossetia-Alania, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, the Karachay-Cherkess, and the Chechen republics show positive dynamics. Thank you for the good results; please don’t slow down,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
