Bashkiria won Russian tourism forum “Travel!”
The Bashkortostan exhibition stand at the Russian Tourism Forum “Travel!” became a first-degree laureate in the “Best Involving Exhibition Stand Program.” The exposition was prepared by the “Tourism Development Center” of the Republic with the assistance of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic.
“The Republic is actively using this opportunity to showcase the region's tourism potential. Bashkortostan has something to show and be proud of. This year, the republic's stand was dedicated to events. We also presented tourist routes and places to stay this summer,” commented Zukhra Gordienko, head of the Ministry of Tourism of Bashkortostan.
The forum was held on June 12-16 at VDNKh in Moscow as part of the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia.” Street expositions of Russian regions not only introduced visitors to the potential of tourism but also competed with each other in a particular vote. Every visitor to the travel forum could have their say in choosing the best stand at the festival site.
Representatives of the regions of Russia, China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Cuba, Myanmar, and Uganda attended the event. "Travel!" is Russia's most crucial tourism event and will be held in 2021.
