Masters of arts and crafts from Bashkiria will participate in Sabantuy-2024 in Uzbekistan
The annual national holiday Sabantuy will be held in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, from June 7 to 9. As the press service of the folk art center reported, guests of the event will enjoy a concert program with the participation of masters of art from Uzbekistan, Tatarstan, and Bashkortostan, amateur ensembles, and performers of the Bashkir Public Cultural Center and the Tatar Public Cultural and Educational Center of Tashkent.
ZAINETDIN, Alsou Bakhtieva, Aigiz Khashimov, Damir Taipov, and the Amanat folk dance ensemble will also attend the festive concert.
As part of the holiday, three-day master classes will be held on Bashkir decorative and applied arts, composition of shezhere, choreography, vocals, and playing musical instruments.
Visitors can also participate in sports competitions and traditional Sabantuy games, such as kuresh, weight lifting, arm wrestling, running with an egg in a spoon, running in sacks, and much more.
