8 thousand large trees were planted during “Green Bashkiria” campaign
Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic Irina Golovanova, at a briefing of the government of the republic, said that during the “Green Bashkiria” campaign in 2024, 8 thousand large trees and almost 160 thousand other seedlings were planted in the region, and 106 new thematic alleys were created.
At the same time, in Ufa, 2 thousand large trees, 880 shrubs, and 12 thousand seedlings of deciduous trees were planted in the capital's forests.
More than 57 thousand residents of Bashkiria, including over 4 thousand volunteers and 4 thousand organizations, participated in the environmental action. During the nationwide cleanup work, more than 685 thousand people collected and removed 162 thousand cubic meters of garbage.
