Vladimir Putin signed law allowing alcoholic beverages sale in outdoor cafes

Vladimir Putin signed a law allowing the sale of alcoholic beverages in outdoor cafes. The document was published on the official legal information portal and will come into force on June 1, 2024.

Previously, the law regulating the circulation of alcoholic and alcohol-containing products included a ban on their sale on the territory of seasonal verandas and cafes. According to the changes made, this ban has been lifted. It is established that alcohol can be sold on verandas and in summer courtyards that are part of a permanent restaurant or cafe. A prerequisite for this will be that the establishment has the appropriate license.
