Schoolboy from Ufa received gift from Vladimir Putin

A schoolboy from Ufa received a gift from President Vladimir Putin. The chief federal inspector for Bashkortostan, Alexey Kasyanov, gave the boy the autographed portrait of the Head of State. The ceremony took place on May 27 at the presidential reception in Ufa.

Earlier, third-grader Kirill Kasimov wrote a letter to Vladimir Putin asking for an autographed portrait and, in the future, a personal meeting on the tatami because he, like the president, is seriously involved in judo.

Kirill’s mother, Svetlana Kasimova, said her son is an excellent schoolboy and loves sports.

“For Kirill, our president is an idol. My son knows the Russian Anthem and follows the news closely. We fully support our leader's course. His intelligence, strength, and charisma are impressive. He will forever go down in the country's history as a leader who makes strong-willed decisions. He is an example of courage and perseverance for me and my children. He did a lot and continues to do a lot of work to make our lives better and more comfortable,” said Svetlana Valerievna. She and her husband are raising two children. Kirill has a younger sister, Sabina.

Alexey Kasyanov talked with his family, showed him his office, toured the presidential reception in the Republic of Bashkortostan, and wished Kirill health, well-being, and success in his studies.
