In his social media, Maxim Zabelin, Chief of Staff of the Head of Bashkortostan, told how medical technologies were presented at the “Russia” exhibition at VDNKh in Moscow.
“Today, we presented the developments of our scientists in the field of medicine to Deputy Chief of Staff of the Russian Government Olga Krivonos and Head of the Russian Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko.
Innovative medical development is one of the critical factors of scientific and technological progress, as well as the possibility of introducing advanced technologies in biomedicine, genetics, and personalized medicine.
I believe that the republic is developing rapidly in this direction.
Biomedical products and import-substituting ophthalmic devices of BSMU demonstrate advanced achievements in biomedicine.
Scientists' projects are developing personalized medicine - the exhibition presents the developments of our research teams that work within the framework of mega-grant laboratories and youth laboratories: a test system has been created for laboratory screening of neurocognitive disorders after COVID-19, the capabilities of integrated photonics have been expanded, which allows increasing the accuracy of determining boundaries pathology during surgical operations - our scientists have designed unique miniature probes with optical elements.
Recently, a young research team developed a kit for detecting chromosomal mutations in laboratory rats. This kit speeds up the process of genotyping animals used in preclinical drug studies by ninefold.
Olga Krivonos and Mikhail Murashko praised the developments; several medical products aroused particular interest. Modern technologies for preserving health are a priority for the republic. We will continue to support our scientists in implementing breakthrough research,” Maxim Zabelin wrote.
