Head of Bashkortostan participates in “Russia – Islamic World” meeting

Radiy Khabirov wrote about his participation in a strategic vision “Russia - the Islamic World” meeting on social media. This is a severe forum platform that annually brings together representatives of the diplomatic corps of Muslim countries and regions of Russia where Islam is practiced.

According to the Head of Bashkiria, participation in this event is significant because more than 2 million Muslims live in the republic. However, foreign economic activity and its cultural component are also crucial for the region.

“Today, the republic is turning to the east. A quarter of our trade turnover falls on Central Asian countries; we actively work with Turkey and the Islamic Republic of Iran. We open the doors to places where we are welcome and where people are ready to cooperate constructively and honestly. Our task is to ensure the development of the region’s economy, and without external partners, without deep cooperation with other countries, this is impossible,” wrote Radiy Khabirov.
