Bashkiria hit Top 10 regions in All-Russian school Olympiads victories
The Republic of Bashkortostan entered the top ten best regions of Russia in terms of the number of winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren, along with Moscow, Moscow Region, Republic of Tatarstan, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk Region, Udmurt Republic, Novosibirsk Region, Republic of Mordovia, and Sverdlovsk Region.
The republic has 52 winners, runners-up, and a gold medal at the 58th International Chemistry Olympiad.
About seven million students participated in the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in the Russian Federation in the 2023-2024 academic year. As a result, 3,099 high school students became winners and prize-winners: the guys won 530 diplomas of winners and 2,569 diplomas of prize-winners.
This year's most popular subjects are mathematics, physics, and computer science. 472 people took part in the finals of the Olympiad in mathematics, 400 people in physics, and 377 schoolchildren in computer science.
The final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren took place from March 18 to May 3, 2024, in 24 general education subjects. Everyone could join the live broadcasts of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympiad in each general education subject and events dedicated to the Year of the Family.
