In Bashkiria, the morning of May 8 will begin with a minute of silence. The ceremony “In Blessed Memory of those fallen in the fight against fascism” will take place from 10.50 to 11.20 local time.
You can honor the memory of the dead with a minute of silence at workplaces, classrooms, assembly halls, and sports halls, or simply in the open air. All interested residents and any associations of cities and districts of the republic can become participants in the action.
“Participants in the ceremony are recommended to wear a badge over their clothes with a photo of their Victorious Soldier and the St. George Ribbon, thereby paying tribute to him and memory, demonstrating to others their civic position and their attitude towards Victory Day,” said the regional headquarters of the Immortal Regiment of Russia movement."
