

In Ufa, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Bashkir Institute of Physical Culture and the Nukus branch of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports. As reported on the government website of the Republic, an official delegation of the Republic of Karakalpakstan (Uzbekistan), led by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Bayrambay Otemuratov, is in the republic on a working visit.
The guests visited the inter-university student campus, where they participated in a round table and discussed the prospects for cooperation in the region's scientific, educational, and sports fields and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
“The agreement between the leading sports universities of the republics will make it possible to develop and popularize sports even more effectively and implement socially significant projects,” said the Minister of Sports of the Republic, Ruslan Khabibov. He also noted the importance of such meetings for exchanging experiences and managing mass sports practices.
