Bashkiria - in Regional Social Standard implementation leaders

At the end of 2023, Bashkortostan was among the leaders in the country's regions in implementing the functionality of a social initiative and the Regional Social Standard. Issues related to implementing key projects of the National Social Initiative in the Volga Federal District were discussed on April 23 in Nizhny Novgorod at a strategic session organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.

The main participants in the strategic session of the ASI were the heads of relevant regional executive authorities and social institutions. They exchanged experience and best regional practices in implementing the Regional Social Standard and, in general, the ongoing work to improve the quality of life.

Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, Alexey Kuzmitsky, noted the particular relevance and importance of improving the quality of social services, promptly responding to requests, and solving citizens' problems in various life situations.

The office of the plenipotentiary representative pays close attention to the work carried out in the district to develop the social sphere and improve people's quality of life, focusing on the heads.

Alexey Kuzmitsky also outlined the need to continue comprehensive work to form a unified system of coordination and interconnection of all elements of the National Social Initiative and the Regional Social Standard, improve the interaction of all participants in the process vertically and horizontally, as well as develop and replenish the base of standard models for regions for different life situations with taking into account their prioritization.

In Bashkortostan, as part of the implementation of the National Social Initiative, a regional social standard is being introduced aimed at improving the quality of life of the population and the availability of services in the social sphere. The implementation of the standard provides for the implementation of 13 provisions in the region. The standard for supporting volunteerism, assessing the quality of services in the social sphere, the standard for involving citizens in the development of the urban environment, and the Council under the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan on improving the quality of life of citizens, which was one of the first in the country, have been fully launched. The Council is designed to ensure interdepartmental and inter-level interaction when considering issues related to human capital development, increasing residents' satisfaction with the quality of social services, and government support for the social sphere.
