Ufa City Hall has published program for May Day events

The Ufa City Hall has published an event program for May Day. For Spring and Labor Day, patriotic, educational, and cultural events are organized in Ufa at various venues.

On April 30 at 17.00, there will be a festive concert of creative groups “Peace, Labor, May!” at the Ufa Children's Philharmonic, and 18.30 - the concert “Spring in Red” at the Adigam Iskuzhin Children's Art School.

On the holiday's eve, thematic events are held in schools, education centers, gymnasiums, and lyceums. So, this week, classes from the series “Talking about Important Things” took place on the topic “Work is Cool.” The children were told about the importance of work for socio-economic development and about the activities of the social movement “Russian Student Teams.”

On May 1, Ufa residents are invited to the festival of national cultures, “Ufa—the city of friendship and unity,” dedicated to the city's 450th anniversary. The event will occur in the Pervomaisky Culture and Recreation Park from 12 to 17.

As part of the finals, there will be a gala concert, a circle dance of friendship, and an award ceremony. There will be exhibitions of national farmsteads, national cuisine and folk crafts fairs, interactive platforms, master classes on national sports, and a performance by a combined orchestra of folk instruments.

On the same day, flowers will be laid at the stele “Ufa – the city of labor valor”. The event will be held with the participation of veterans, home front workers, and representatives of public organizations, ministries, and departments.

Also on May 1, as part of the “Melodies of Spring” program, dedicated to the beginning of the new season of the city fountains, there will be concerts and the launch of two fountains: at 12.00 - in the Pervomaisky park, at 18.00 - “Dancing Cranes” in the Dubki park.
