Radiy Khabirov announced modernization program for Ufa clinics

The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, announced starting a program to modernize Ufa clinics.

“We have begun implementing our ambitious program in the healthcare sector—the modernization of primary care in Ufa. The analysis showed that almost a third of the buildings of Ufa clinics require major repairs, and almost half of the equipment has been in use for more than ten years,” the head of the region wrote on his social networks.

He noted that 34 medical organizations will be renovated in the republic's capital by 2029. For this purpose, 3.5 billion rubles will be allocated from the Bashkiria budget. Another 4.5 billion rubles will be spent on equipping clinics with medical equipment, furniture, and office equipment.

Radiy Khabirov added that renovations are planned for children's clinics, dispensaries, and hospitals in 2024.

“Patients and doctors will be transferred to other buildings or nearby medical facilities during the repairs. This entails some inconveniences. But the result is worth the wait - comfortable, modern medical facilities with a well-thought-out, proper work organization. We have taken on another large-scale problem that is decades old. And we will solve it,” the Head of the Republic said.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic Dinara Enikeeva spoke about the large-scale renovation of medical institutions in Ufa.
