By decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations was instructed to distribute foreign citizens evacuated from Palestine to Russia by region. According to this document, 12 constituent entities of the Russian Federation will accept 1,447 refugees.
Among the regions receiving Palestinians is Bashkiria. The republic, according to the distribution, must accept 250 people. Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the first group of internally displaced persons from Palestine, consisting of 8 people, arrived in the republic. The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, noted that the republic is entrusted with these tasks as a vital region and must be taken extremely seriously.
As Kirill Pervov, the acting chairman of the Republican State Committee for Emergency Situations, explained to Bashinform News Agency, we are only talking about establishing a maximum limit for the region.
“At the federal level, limits have been determined for the constituent entities of the Russian Federation on the possible sending of refugees from Palestine. For Bashkiria, this number is up to 250 people. That is, so many people can be sent to us if necessary. Currently, there are only 9 refugees from Palestine in Bashkiria,” said Kirill Pervov.
