6.2 thousand new apartments were put into operation in 2 months in Bashkiria

According to statistics, in January-February 2024, 6,268 apartments with a total area of 557.3 thousand square meters were commissioned in Bashkiria, 20.6% more than in January-February 2023. In addition, during the same period, the republic's population built 4,110 houses with a total residential area of 461.9 thousand square meters or 32.4% more than in the same period last year. The Ministry of Construction of Bashkiria provides this data.

Regarding the commissioning of residential buildings, Bashkiria ranks 2nd among the regions of the Volga Federal District and in Russia – 11th place. Bashinform News Agency reported more than 3.3 million square meters of housing were built in Bashkiria in 2023. The republic shows record figures for the third year in a row.
