Head of Bashkiria reported to Russian president on higher education system development

Over the past five years, Bashkiria's higher education system has received a powerful impetus for development. At the moment, the republic’s universities are showing good results in all rankings, noted Radiy Khabirov during a working meeting with Vladimir Putin. Success became possible thanks to participation in the federal program “Priority” and the construction of the Eurasian Research Center campus.

“I have already reported that we are building a campus and have completed the first stage. The campus was quite good; three universities have already started operating. We will create a large facility with seven towers in a short time. We tried to make the architecture enjoyable.

When I met with you in 2019, I asked for support regarding universities. We implemented it. We have three universities in the Priority program: laboratories, youth laboratories, and mega laboratories. The higher education system looks perfect in all rankings, and young people have taken the lead. We have created a program specifically for undergraduates, graduate students, and young teachers; we allocate 200 million rubles a year for internships or improving living conditions: paying the first part of the mortgage or rent,” the Head of Bashkortostan emphasized.
