Eurasian REC presented report on its work in 2023 to Russian Ministry of Education and Science

The Eurasian REC generated and sent to the Russian Ministry of Education and Science a report on the results of implementing the program of activities in 2023. The report consists of 4,740 sheets of paper; it results from joint work by the region’s management team, the REC Management Company, universities, scientific organizations, and industrial partners. Bashinform News Agency was told about the main achievements of the republic's scientists at the Eurasian Research Center.

Bashkiria's scientific and educational potential grows every year. In 2023, 590 patents were issued for inventions and industrial designs developed by the directions of the REC, 50 more than in 2022.

Scientific publication, the result of a scientist's activities, is an essential indicator of the quality of the research process. Thanks to interdisciplinary work and international cooperation, scientists at the Eurasian Research Center released 2,376 articles in 2023, 381 more than the year before. Scientists find new methods for creating innovative materials, form an evidence base for diagnosing and treating various diseases, and much more. All this is reflected in scientific publications.

Scientists in Bashkiria are actively improving their skills, which has led to a more than threefold increase in new high-tech jobs—4,484. Highly qualified workers and the use of the latest achievements in science and technology make it possible to achieve cost-effective production and help improve people's living standards.

In recent years, funding for science has increased significantly in Bashkiria: scientists receive funds not only from the regional budget but also from extra-budgetary sources.
