

Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, reported on social media that Birsk and Blagoveshchensk won the All-Russian “Tourist Cities” award.
Birsk, known for its vibrant annual festivals, was first in the “City of Event Tourism” category. Blagoveshchensk became the first in the “City of Industrial Tourism” category. This is a new, promising direction for the republic. The competition was high, with 168 participants from all over the country.
“I congratulate the teams of Birsk and Blagoveshchensk, the residents of these cities, and everyone involved in the tourism industry in Bashkortostan. Our region is rich in beautiful nature. We hold interesting events and develop popular routes,” wrote Radiy Khabirov.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that tourists from Moscow chose summer holidays in Bashkiria.
